Kitties, Part 2

With Waverly's death, Calvin was left all by his lonesome self. There was no way Tulip was going to play with Calvin and it was obvious he was lonely. He followed me everywhere and wanted to play. Having suffered a series of puncture wounds I knew we needed to find him a friend. The vets we talked to had different opinions on how long to wait to let FIV (hopefully) go away. We were told anywhere form 10 days to 6 months. Calvin couldn't wait and neither could we, so we went with 10 days. Unlike Aimee's first two Birthday gifts, she had input on Calvin's new buddy. We made a few visits to the Humane Society and settled on this guy...Harvard. Aimee thought he looked scholarly, so she named him Harvard. Experience would tell us that name isn't necessarily representative of the kitty himself. Regardless, he his energetic, finicky, loud and difficult. In short, a typical cat.
